During the formation of the company, its parent company wanted some separation and decided to create a very unique name for a phone company. We had originally wanted to go with a simple name like Unity, because the focus of our company was to be community-centered. After some research, we discovered hundreds of registered trademarks of communication companies named Unity. We wanted a unique national foot print, so we needed a unique name. The legal name of our business is UnityComm LLC, reflecting the concept of the larger community. Four of us were attempting to select a name, and began brainstorming names such as Unity 4 and UnityComm 4. After realizing most telecommunications companies have short names, we decided on U4.

• Unconditional: U4’s customer satisfaction guarantee: Our personnel will not stop working until a customer’s problem is solved or their task is completed. U4 still believes the customer is always right.

• Unsurpassed: U4’s goal is to provide the best possible service. We are not content to have good service for our clients; we want to give them the best.
