In order to stay at the forefront of technology and to maximize efficiency, U4 strives to become a paperless office. As more of the businesses in our industry adopt paperless practices, it becomes easier for us to communicate with them.

As we set up vendors, we ask to only receive email statements or invoices from the vendor. By receiving electronic invoices, we can save the file electronically and it is immediately accessible to everyone within the company. In many situations getting rid of paper statements saves money. Eventually all companies will produce electronic bills.

By establishing a paperless office, U4 eliminates the need for expensive filing cabinets, staff to do the filing, and reduces the risk of misfiling documents. When paper documents do arrive, we scan and store them in our state-of-the-art intranet site, then shred and recycle the paper. Company meetings are held with laptops and electronic presentation boards.
