U4 plans to have solar panels on our roof. We estimate we can save as much as $5,000 to $6000 a year in electricity. This will be more than a 50% reduction in our electric costs. It would also save 1,115 tons of greenhouse gasesper year, which is the equivalent of a car driving 2,230,000 miles.
