U4 appears in the Times Union (Warsaw, Indiana) and Mail Journal (Syracuse, Indiana) in the past week.

U4 appeared in several papers due to its press releases it sent out about the U4 Web Launch party last week. We appeared in the Mail Journal three weeks in a row and made the Saturday business section in the Warsaw paper. U4 sends out press releases regularly about different events we participate in throughout the community and services we provide. BR290 Customers requesting a discount for paying ahead on services

Throughout the year we get requests from customers to pay in advance to get a discount from their service. Our pricing in the areas we offer service are structured to give the customer the lowest price possible. We create business rules for our company to follow and customers to understand. Some business rules are printed and some customer business rules are not. Important business rules we discuss and approve will be published on this blog. This goes into affect 2/1/2007.

Replaced images on blog

During the transition of servers we did not copy over the blog images. Today I went through and fixed all the bad links for previous month’s posts. Most of the blog images that needed replaced were from the fair in 2006.

U4 Website Launch video

Here is our U4 web launch video so you can see the final seconds before our website went live. You can see Congressman Mark Souder in the video shot with Rich Hays, Zak Wolfinger, Blake Fawley, and Bob Rupholdt. We released the website on a 16x9 screen at Cool Beans in Syracuse.

U4 increases packages for business customers

U4 has increased their prices slightly for all business customers not on a contract. This was a small but necessary price increase. U4 strives to provide the best quality service for a great price. Due to recent price increases from Embarq & Verizon we have been forced to equally pass those increases onto the customer. We apologize for any inconvenience. Call our customer service office at anytime to ask that your company be placed under a contract.

U4 Web Launch Party was a huge success

Last night we had approximately 40 individuals, business owners, and employees come to our launch party. The website was released with a 45 day countdown with a 10 second final countdown by everyone. Brian Woody from Cool Beans (our first business customer) provided free drinks for everyone that came. U4 provided a cake with our website image on the top of the cake. It was a great evening. We should have video of the countdown in the next day or so. Thanks to everyone who helped make our event a huge success. Special thanks to Congressman Mark Souder for making an appearance. 3rd Annual After Christmas Christmas Party

On the 13th of January U4 had its annual After Christmas Christmas Party. Several years ago during the busy rush of December we decided to wait until after Christmas to have our party. This year our party was held in Cromwell, Indiana at Ngiapwe Bed & Breakfast. We invited the entire family including kids to join us. They have a huge facility including indoor pool and hot tub. We gathered around 5 PM for appetizers, played dirty bingo, had a secret Santa gift exchange, had a great prime rib and chicken dinner, a short presentation on the company and the past year, and then everyone started enjoying the facility. U4 is getting ready for our website launch party

We will be having free coffee and cake at our launch party. Our new website will go live on 1/15/07 at 5 PM. We are expecting 50 or so people. We hope all will come and visit Cool Beans Espressos in Syracuse, Indiana. Can’t wait to see you all there.

Staci Blair from Matrix Integration visited U4 for training

Matrix Integration a partner of U4 came up for two days for training in provisioning and operations. During her visit we explained new procedures for training and our new credit check policies. It was great having Staci visit. Staci did mention the next visit should be when its warmer outside.

Katie Sabones joins the U4 family
